E-mail Account Set-up Guide

1. Click "Start", point to "Programs", and select "Outlook Express".

2.Click the "Tools" Menu, and select "Accounts". The "Accounts" Window will be displayed. Click the "Mail" Tab. Click "Add" and select "Mail" from the list.

3. The "Internet Connection" Wizard will start, and the "Your Name" Window will be displayed.

In the "
Display Name" Box, enter your name as you wish it to be displayed to e-mail recipients e.g. John Smith

Both upper and lower case may be used in this
Box.

Click "
Next".

4. The "Internet E-mail Address" Window" will be displayed. Select "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use", and in the "E-mail address" Box, enter your e-mail address.

PLEASE NOTE: All the above entries MUST be made in lower case.

Click "
Next".

5. The "Email Server Names" Window will be displayed; in the "My incoming mail server is a... server." Box, select "POP3".

In the "
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" Box, enter Your ISP POP Server

In the "
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" Box, enter Your ISP SMTP Server

PLEASE NOTE: Both of these last two entries MUST be made in lower case.

6. The "Internet Mail Logon" Window will be displayed.

In the "
Account name:" Box, enter your username

In the "
Password:" Box, enter your password

PLEASE NOTE: Both the username and password entries MUST be made in lower case.

Ensure that the "
Remember Password" Box is ticked, and that the "Log on using Secure Password Authorisation(SPA)" Box is unchecked.

Click "
Next".

7. The "Congratulations" Window will be displayed, confirming that you have successfully entered all the information required to set-up your Account. Click "Finish" to close the "Internet Connection" Wizard
