E-mail Account Set-up Guide

1. On the Desktop, click "Start", point to "Programs" and select "Microsoft Outlook".

2. Click the "Tools" Menu, and select "E-mail Accounts". The "E-mail Accounts" Window will be displayed. Select "Add a new e-mail account" and click "Next".

3. The "Server Type" Window will be displayed. Select "POP3", then click "Next".

4. The "Internet E-mail Settings" Window will appear; please enter the following required information. All entries in this Window, apart from your name, MUST be in lower case.

In the "
Your Name:" Box, enter your name as you wish it to be displayed to e-mail recipients e.g. John Smith (- this entry ONLY can be both upper and lower case).

In the "
E-mail Address:" Box, enter your e-mail address; by default this will be your username




In the "
Password:" Box, enter your password

In the "
Incoming Mail Server:" Box, enter Your ISP POP Server
In the "
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):" Box, enter Your ISP SMTP Server

Ensure that the "
Remember password" Box is ticked, and that the "Logon using Secure Password Authorisation (SPA)" Box is unchecked.

5. Click "More Settings".

6. The "Congratulations!" Window will be displayed. Click "Finish" to exit the "Set-up" Wizard
