Sonic CD/DVD

Sonic CD/DVD RecordNow for Microsoft Windows

 

Note: the disc you want to copy may be protected by copyright law. It is an offence to copy such discs without the written permission of the copyright holder.

1. Click Start > All Programs > Sonic > RecordNowDX > RecordNowDX to open the program.

2. You will now see the RecordNow DX Wizard menu (Fig. 1). Click the "Make an Exact Copy" option.

3. You are now asked to insert the disc you want to copy. Put this into your CD drive then click the Next button (Fig. 2).

4. RecordNow DX will now read the disc, you will see a green progress bar count up to 100% (Fig. 3).

5. Once the source disc has been read you will be asked to insert a blank CD. Remove the disc you are copying, insert a blank CD and click the Next button (Fig. 4).

6. You will now see a warning message asking you to close any open programs. If you don't want this to pop up every time you use the software tick the "Don't show me this dialog box again" box, then click the OK button (Fig. 5).

7. Your disc will now be written to the blank CD. A green progress bar will count up to 100% (Fig. 6).

8. Once the disc has been written you will see the "Your disc was copied successfully" message. Click "Make another" to create another copy, or "Done" to exit the Wizard (Fig. 7).
