Nero Burning Rom 6 for Microsoft Windows

Nero can copy your data to a CD or DVD disc so that it can be read and used on another computer. To do this you need to carry out the following instructions:

1. Click Start > All Programs > Nero > Nero StartSmart. This will launch the Nero StartSmart program (Fig. 1).

2.  Next, select DVD or CD from the top, move your mouse over the Data icon (Fig. 1) to display the Data menu.

3. Then click the "Make Data Disc" icon.

4. You now need to add files to be written to your disc. Click the Add button (Fig. 2)

5. On the next screen you first need to browse to the location of your files using the Location bar. All the files in the location will now be listed. Hold the CTRL key down and click on the files you want to add (they will become highlighted). When you are ready click the Add button (Fig. 3).

6. You will be returned to the original screen in step 4 where you will see a list of the files waiting to be written to your disc. Click the Next button (Fig. 4).

7. Now you need to set which drive you want to record to under the Current recorder section, then set the write speed under Writing speed. When you are ready click Burn (Fig. 5).

8. Nero will now write your files to the disc (Fig. 6). Once this is done you will see a message that burning is complete, click OK (Fig. 7).

9. On the next screen click the Next button (Fig. 8).

10. Finally you will see the Nero Express screen. From here you can carry out other related functions by clicking the option under "What do you want to do now?", or you can click "Exit" to finish your project (Fig. 9).
